As we know, the Forums have been down for a few days, and there has been lots of speculation as to why Turbine cut services on such short notice. I’ve had my suspicions, and after Turbine’s official statement here , my suspicions may be true.
My best advice to fellow LOTROers would be to go to your Turbine account @ myaccount.turbine.com and change your passwords immediately. Remember to get creative with your passwords and take it down somewhere! Cheers everyone, and let’s hope Turbine resolves the issue and that the security of us the gamers have not been compromised.
